SOLID switch that’s easy to use
This switch has a lot of powerful features that can come in handy. If you don’t need any of them, just plug it in and it will work fine as well. If you need trunking, VLAN’s and broadcast storm protection, this has it. The web management interface is easy to use and also has logging so you can troubleshoot your network.
My favorite feature of this switch is the lack of a fan and low power consumption. I use these in many homes, so silence is a requirement!

It is what it is, …
which is a modular nic for many of the HP Laserjet printers. They work and are in millions of printers. Not much to really say other than if you have to replace one, the process couldn’t be much easier: undo two screws and voila. (it’s a good idea to make sure you have the IP settings, if possible, copied down because you’ll lose those after replacement)

Works well, but subject to failure
I’ve been working with HP corporate-series lasers for many years, and failure of this print server card is normal. They’re not exactly prone to failure, but it does happen. When replacing them, just be sure to 1)power off the printer, 2)use good ESD prevention measures, and 3)take advantage of the web page’s capabilities.
